Responsibilities
- Partner with sponsors and portfolio managers to identify and prioritize initiatives.
- Develop and manage divisional roadmaps.
- Create business cases and cost-benefit analyses for initiatives.
- Manage approvals, Statements of Work, and vendor onboarding.
- Establish governance models and oversee risk/opportunity management.
- Track budgets, funding channels, and project progress.
- Present program details, risks, and updates to senior/executive management.
- Ensure compliance with IT roadmap and security requirements.
- Manage resource allocations and maintain transparent communications.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Proven experience managing multiple large projects with varying timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to diverse audiences.
- Hands-on experience with risk, cost, schedule, quality, testing, and communications.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and MS Office.
- Ability to build, influence, and motivate effective teams.
- PMP/PgMP or Agile (PMI-ACP) certification.
- Experience with legacy system replacement and data migration projects.
- Background in statewide IT project implementations.
- Collaboration experience with state and local government.
