We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support our accounting operations. The ideal candidate has strong experience with bookkeeping systems, excellent organizational skills, and a high level of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Track invoices, payments, and outstanding balances
- Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking
- Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries
- Support budgeting and financial forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation as needed
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) (required)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP knowledge preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- 15–25 hours per week (flexible schedule)
- Occasional availability during month-end or reporting periods
