Job Summar

yIn this role, you will integrate safety and health requirements into complex project planning, design, and operations to reduce the potential for adverse impacts. You will perform risk assessments, provide input on bid decisions, lead meetings and communications, and track and monitor performance trends. Your recommendations will contribute to enhanced quality of safety procedures and work processes

Major Responsibiliti

• esAssists execution of the safety component of an ESH Program inclusive of technical and administrative aspect
• s.Helps prepare and implement Safety and Health Management Plans, associated plans and procedures, and training progra
• m.Provides input to Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Subcontracts, Commissioning, and other groups to assure that safety and health requirements are integrated within project planning and executio
• n.Interprets safety and health requirements and provides comprehensive assistance on plan preparation, risk assessment, and ESH program executio
• n.Researches moderately complex issues and regulatory requirements and prepares documentation and report
• s.Provides support and guidance for safety studies, risk assessments, and program reviews and audit
• s.Participates in emergency response and incident investigation and resolutio
• n.Interfaces and communicates with stakeholders and helps resolve their concern
• s.Participates in meetings with customers, team members, subcontractors, and other stakeholder
• s.Conducts ESH inspections and monitoring to identify hazards and risks, evaluate controls and corrective actions, and assess compliance with contract, regulatory, project, and Company requirement

Education and Experience Requireme

• ntsRequires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) related to occupational safety or health and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilit
• iesSpecialized knowledge in a safety specialty (e.g., Personal Protective Equipment, lockout/tagout, fall protection, excavation, People Based Safety) or engineering (e.g., civil, process safety, mechanical) or related disciplin
• es.Knowledge of safety management, monitoring programs, principles, and methodologi
• es.Knowledge of safety and health laws and regulations and applicable agencies’ permitting processes and responsibiliti
• es.Knowledge of engineering, construction, and subcontract work process
• es.Skilled in oral and written communication and knowledge of computer applicatio
• ns.Bachelor of Science degree in a specialized scientific field (e.g., safety, industrial engineering, public health) or process/mechanical engineering and/or some practical work experience in the discipline performing the responsibilities listed abo
