What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Functional Safety Engineer position at Global Connect Technologies?
Technical Safety Concept Development – not limited to following:
- Support review and development of technical safety concept and requirements
- Refinement of existing requirements, aligned with system functional architecture
- Conduct safety analysis to support concept and requirement development
- Additional concept at component level for CoPI subsystems if required
Additional Safety Support (NEW ~1.5 Resources)
- Support review and development of safety-rated ethernet switch implementation (assumptions of use review and requirement development), SW integration support as needed
- Support review and development of safety requirements based on base vehicle assumptions of use
- Development of Hardware-Software interface documentation for whitebox safety components
- Development of Dependent Failure Analysis and mitigation recommendations for HW components
- HW FMEA support as needed
