We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive L1 Technician to support data center operations, including installation, inspection, and maintenance of servers and network equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hardware handling, cabling, and basic troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Move and install servers and switches
- Inspect and perform smoke testing of hardware
- Cable devices as per wire map and standards
- Verify connections with network team
- Install components (NIC, drives, memory)
- Assist in unboxing and setup
- Perform inventory and audit checks
Skills:
Basic hardware & networking knowledge, cabling, troubleshooting, attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a data center environment.
