Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled MBD Powertrain Calibration Engineer with strong expertise in Model-Based Development (MBD), MATLAB/Simulink, and powertrain calibration. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing, calibrating, and validating advanced powertrain control strategies to meet performance, efficiency, and emissions targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement control algorithms for powertrain systems using Model-Based Development (MBD) methodologies.
- Perform calibration and optimization of powertrain components to meet regulatory and performance requirements.
- Utilize MATLAB and Simulink for modeling, simulation, and algorithm development.
- Conduct validation activities including Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
- Analyze test data and refine control strategies to improve system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, testing, and software development.
- Document models, calibration procedures, and validation results in accordance with engineering standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in Model-Based Development (MBD).
- Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
- Expertise in powertrain systems and calibration techniques.
- Solid understanding of control systems engineering principles.
- Experience with validation processes such as MIL, SIL, and HIL.
