FEA Engineer

Job Description:

• Technical modeling and simulation related to mechanical robustness and thermal performance of advanced energy storage systems.
• Work closely with battery system engineers and mechanical design engineers.
• Perform FEA simulations to validate battery design concepts for mechanical robustness.
• Prepare engineering documentation.
• Thermal and mechanical modeling and simulation work.
• FEA experience in crash, crush, mechanical shock, and vibration analysis is desirable.
• Experience in Li-Ion battery systems, thermal management, and mechanical design is preferred.

Requirements:

• MS in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
• 5 years of FEA experience, specifically with ANSA or HyperMesh and ABAQUS tools.
• Experience in OE Automotive or Tier 1 systems/assemblies.
• Fluency in English.
• At least 1 year of CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred).
