Position Summary:
The Clinic Staffing Coordinator provides clerical support to the clinic and providers. Performs functions for and carries out duties under the direction of the Clinic Services Director, Clinic Services Manager and Chief Medical Officer. Responsible for provider scheduling, clinic staff scheduling and Timestar management. Proactively adjusts daily staffing, reviews staffing levels on an ongoing basis communicating staffing needs to employees and works to fill vacant shifts.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent required. Secretarial degree or similar work preferred.
- Staffing/scheduling experience in a healthcare system desired.
- Proficient in Windows-based computer systems including Outlook, TEAMS, Word, and Excel or related software is imperative. Previous EMR (electronic medical record) experience helpful.
- Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees’ needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing/scheduling requirements are met for the facility.
- Ability to work autonomously, possess initiative and good judgment.
- Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, act with tact and professionalism, be extremely organized and possess strong attention to detail.
- Ability to operate a variety of office equipment.
- Must be able to meet facility required physical job requirements.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation decisions are made based off of several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification and licensure as well as internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of their hourly range.
Hourly Range:
$22.71 - $31.81
