Responsibilities
- Remove and replace auto glass with precision, ensuring proper fit and seal integrity.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform glass installations, repairs, and adjustments.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify additional repair needs such as auto body damage or mechanical issues.
- Apply tinting films to vehicle windows when required, ensuring a clean, professional finish.
- Assist with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration following glass replacement to maintain vehicle safety features.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of power tools.
- Collaborate with team members on vehicle maintenance tasks and auto estimating processes for accurate job completion.
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience preferred, with a strong understanding of auto glass installation.
- Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures and window tinting techniques is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy vehicle components safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Familiarity with auto body repair, auto estimating software, and general vehicle maintenance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license; automotive mechanic or technician experience is advantageous.
