Job Summary
Provides service to walk-in customers and customers by phone. Takes and processes orders, answers questions, solves problems, quotes prices and delivery specifications, and assists outside sales functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Verifies the availability of product and delivery method or additional services including placing orders with vendors
- Completes the order entry process, determines service charges, maintains and tracks various records, and email and phone correspondence
- Solicit sale of new or additional products and assists outside salespeople in generating customer quotes
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years of related customer service experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
