Gladwin Pines Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking an experienced, full time Laundry Assistant. The purpose of this position is to implement facility laundry procedures in an efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet our residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
Wage information:
- $16.60/hour
- Includes $.85/hour MI Wage pass through 09.30.26

The successful Laundry Assistant candidate will:
- Operate equipment in a safe manner.
- Perform cleaning procedures in accordance to facility policy.
- Assist in proper care of laundry equipment.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunction to supervisor.
- Follow material safety data sheets (SDS).
- Report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor.
- Use supplies efficiently and report needed supplies to supervisor.
- Consistently work cooperatively with other staff, physicians, consultants and ancillary service providers.
Qualifications of a Laundry Assistant include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Laundry experience
