What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service position at GLACIER CASTLE ROCK?
Glacier Homemade Ice Cream and Gelato in Castle Rock, CO, are looking for customer service employees to join our Glacier Team! Our location is downtown at 115 Wilcox Street, Suite 110, directly across from Festival Park. We are a private family-owned business, and it's a fantastic place to work!
Our ideal candidate is reliable, a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.
Excellent pay is Colorado minimum tip wage: $12.14 plus tips that exceed the Colorado minimum wage rate of $15.16 per hour. During Spring, Summer, and early Fall tips are $9 per hour, est. hourly rate of $21 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Proven ability to follow instructions and the Glacier Ice Cream’s policies and procedures
- Mandatory to follow Schedule Shift, Time Off and Dress Codes policies. No Exceptions!
- Greet customers making them feel at home with a friendly environment
- Learn about Glacier’s products and services to answer customers’ questions correctly
- Assist Customers’ in preparing their orders by listening closely to their requests
- Prepare the Customers’ order with a quality professional presentation
- Maintain a very clean environment for serving and eating
- Be polite and courteous directing customer complaints to Manager or Shift Lead
- Various responsibilities for creating products in the kitchen
Qualifications
- We have a very busy customer service environment, it is imperative to be able to work with customers and coworkers cautiously and professionally fulfilling all your responsibilities and break time policies which are a 10-minute paid break every 4 hours, and an optional 30-minute unpaid lunch break after 5 hours.
- When you are scheduled for a shift, it is your responsibility to cover the shift or find a replacement and if you are unable to find a replacement it is your responsibility to cover the shift.
- We are looking for self-starters that know their responsibilities and actively work without being told what to do. (We understand that this is a train ability as well and will train.)
- Friendly and good communication skills are important to a good work environment. (We understand that this is a learned ability and are very willing to train, but the responsibility is your as a Glacier Employee!)
