Required
25 years old and up (Restaurant management experience preferred, we will consider training). Glacier Homemade Ice Cream & Gelato in Castle Rock, CO, is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our 20 -member team. We are located at 115 Wilcox Street, Suite 110. Our
ideal candidate is a very good leader, has extraordinary communication skills, is self-driven, is outgoing, very good with customers and employees alike, punctual, and very reliable.
Required
- Strong leadership qualities are a must, balancing respect with authority!
- 26 to 32 hours a week, must be available four days a week
- Must work on Friday and Saturday each week otherwise workdays are flexible
Responsibilities
- Customer service, serving at the counter during specific hours and shifts
- Staff and schedule appropriately to control labor costs
- Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place
- Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and security standards are met
- Train, coach, and develop staff, Team Members, and Shift/Team Leads in Glacier’s high quality work requirements
- Working with owners to hold team members accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed

Delegate tasks effectively to ensure that the staff is busy and all responsibilities are
kept up to date and provide follow-up for reassurance - Ensure the team provides fast, friendly, and the highest quality service
- Ensure proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed
