A Press-Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a CNC press brake to support efficient, high-quality production output.
Monday - Friday from 6:30am until 3:30pm overtime on Saturdays
Permanent Position
Background check and drug test are required
Main responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a CNC press brake to meet daily and weekly production schedules.
- Produce parts according to the weekly schedule, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Read and interpret blueprints, rulers, and decimal measurements to ensure precise fabrication.
- Operate additional fabrication equipment, including shear and notcher.
- Calculate bend deductions for various gauges of material to achieve correct finished dimensions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety and quality standards.
Qualifications and experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating a CNC press brake in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong Mathematical skills required.
- Experience with Accurpress preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and decimal measurements.
- Strong understanding of bend deductions, bend allowances, and material behavior across various gauges.
- Experience operating related fabrication equipment such as shears, notchers, and basic shop tools.
- Familiarity with production workflows, quality checks, and fabrication standards.
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs as needed.
