What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler Brazer position at GL Staffing Services?
Performs repetitive work-station or line assembly operations to mass produce components or to assembler those components into a unit by performing the below specified duties.
Monday th Friday from 6:30am until 3:30pm overtime on Saturdays
Permanent Position
Background check and drug test are required
Main responsibilities:
- Performs assembly processes using hand tools, pneumatic tools and electrical tools to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies or sub-assemblies.
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Team Leader and/or Senior Production Supervisor.
- Maintains a constant visual on parts and supplies stored on the shop floor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
- Follows all safety rules, ISO requirements and builds units to the highest standard of quality.
Qualifications and experience:
- Must be mechanically inclined and good with hand tools.
- Must be able to braze copper tubing using an LPG/oxygen torch.
- Must be able to read electrical schematics or blueprints.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
