Manufacturing Engineer – Electrical/Electronic

Position Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with an electrical/electronic engineering background to support manufacturing operations by developing, improving, and optimizing production processes, test systems, and manufacturing equipment.

This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, increase manufacturing efficiency, and support new product introductions in a high-technology manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing, testing, and assembly processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain electrical/electronic test fixtures, jigs, and automated test equipment (ATE).
• Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze manufacturing data and apply continuous improvement methodologies to increase efficiency and product quality.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and production procedures.
• Support the selection and implementation of manufacturing tools, equipment, and production supplies.
• Evaluate and recommend capital equipment purchases to improve manufacturing capabilities.
• Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives and cross-functional engineering projects.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Quality, Production, and Operations to support manufacturing objectives.
• Support the development of manufacturing solutions for new and existing products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in an electronics or high-tech manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production support, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience designing or supporting electronic test systems, fixtures, or automated test equipment (ATE).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
• Experience using statistical analysis tools such as Minitab.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Experience working in electronics, aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work on-site in Orlando, FL.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Occasional light lifting may be required.
• Must be eligible to work in positions involving export-controlled information in accordance with applicable U.S. regulations.
