Role Description
This is a full-time, role for a Service Technician based in Chesapeake, VA. The Service Technician will inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance and repair on power transmission products and systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, providing technical support to customers, delivering effective field service, and ensuring equipment is operating efficiently and safely. Regular communication with customers and collaboration with team members are integral to this role. Hourly rate negotiable based on experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair of power transmission systems and related equipment
- Strong Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Experience in Field Service, including the ability to travel for on-site work as needed
- Customer Service skills to communicate effectively and professionally with clients
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with equipment maintenance standards
- Ability to interpret technical documents and manuals
- Relevant technical certifications or training preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training is a plus
- Travelling required
- 5-10 years experience preferred
- Passport a plus
