GL Power is seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead our Exeter, NH location. This position is responsible for overseeing branch operations, driving sales growth, managing inventory and expenses, leading employees, and ensuring excellent customer service. The Branch Manager will play a key role in supporting our marine industrial products and off-highway parts and service business.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong mechanical or technical experience, sales leadership skills, and the ability to manage daily branch operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise inside sales, outside sales, service technicians/mechanics, and office staff
- Drive branch sales growth and profitability
- Work directly with customers alongside the sales team to develop and maintain strong relationships
- Manage branch expenses, including purchasing, margins, discounts, and service profitability
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and coordinate with corporate headquarters on branch assets and systems
- Ensure branch safety, cleanliness, security, and compliance with company standards
- Support workforce planning, employee development, and team performance
- Provide input to executive leadership for business planning and operational improvements
- Build and maintain strong vendor and customer partnerships
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical, technical, or supervisory experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in customer support, inside sales, or branch operations
- Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience managing teams of 10 or more employees
- Industry experience in marine, industrial, heavy equipment, or off-highway products preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Financial and operational management experience
- Ability to make sound decisions and lead in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Product and warranty knowledge is a plus
