Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service.
- Assist in menu development by contributing creative sushi ideas and seasonal specials.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on sushi techniques and food handling practices.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, particularly related to sushi preparation.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations in the kitchen environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
