Position Summary:
The Production Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating production employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment for construction of modular units. This position plans, executes, and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. This position drives continuous improvement through the plant operation by identifying production bottlenecks and leads the workforce as necessary to maintain a high level of morale.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in management, manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience: At least five (5) years' experience in manufacturing leadership or related capacity, previous experience working with diverse populations required. Production Management Software experience required (such as Offsight or similar program).
- Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
- Other Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to engage a team toward a common mission.
- Extensive project management, decision-making, quality management and problem-solving abilities/experience.
- Strong computer skills and Project Management Software skills (such as Microsoft Project or SmartSheet).
- Ability to travel locally and regionally to attend meetings, visit sites, conferences, etc. as required.
