Location: Detroit, MichiganJob Title: NW Inventory ManagerCompensation: $28-$31 an hour plus benefitsRole Type: Full-Time⸻Position Summary:The NW Inventory Manager at PM1 is responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the systems that keep PM1’s equipment accurate, available, and ready for nationwide deployment. This role owns the full asset lifecycle—ensuring precise tracking, clean transfers, accurate forecasting, and clear visibility that supports both Production and Operations.You will partner with Finance, Warehouse Management, Production teams, and Operations Leadership to ensure every show is supported with reliable gear and clear data. This role also leads Inventory Specialists across multiple PM1 locations.This position is ideal for a detail-focused operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and understands how equipment availability affects margin, readiness, and client experience.Key Responsibilities:Inventory & Asset Management Own and manage PM1’s master inventory database, ensuring accuracy, structure, and usability.Oversee asset transfers between Detroit and all PM1 facilities and job sites.Track asset utilization, lifecycle aging, maintenance schedules, and repair workflows.Maintain and audit naming conventions, labeling standards, and categorization across all PM1 locations.Forecasting & Planning Develop gear forecasts with Production Managers, Warehouse Managers, and Operations leadership.Provide weekly and monthly inventory reports for Operations and Executive Leadership.Ensure end-to-end inventory visibility for every project—from forecast through reconciliation.Team Leadership Lead, train, and develop Inventory Specialists across Detroit, Orlando, DC, and other PM1 hubs.Drive consistency, accuracy, and operational excellence across all facilities.Finance Partnership Partner with Finance on asset depreciation, replacement planning, and ROI assessments.Support asset strategy with strong reporting and data-driven recommendations.Qualifications:5–8 years of experience in inventory management, asset control, or warehouse systems.Advanced proficiency in Excel and digital inventory platforms.Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into operational decisions.Excellent cross-functional communication; able to collaborate with Warehouse, Production, Finance, and leadership.Experience in events, production, rental, logistics, staging, or similar industries preferred.Why PM1?PM1 believes invisible excellence is the backbone of every successful show.
