Job Summary
The Controller is responsible for leading the finance and accounting activities for Ginosko Modular, including the preparation and review of financial statements, financial reporting and compliance requirements, loan covenants, monthly, quarterly and annual closings, cash management, maintaining an adequate system of accounting records and internal controls, enhancing the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensuring that reported results comply with GAAP. This position monitors variances, summarizes trends and investigates budget deficiencies. The Controller is accountable for general accounting, internal controls, payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable activity. Acts as an overseer of the Company's financial health taking ownership of the financial accounting and reporting process.

Education/Certification/Licensing/Experience Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years' experience in accounting or similar capacity and manufacturing job cost accounting required. Minimum of 5 years' experience in Affordable Housing, construction cost accounting, 2 years managerial experience in accounting and reporting; and previous experience working with diverse populations preferred.
- Certificates & Licenses: CPA Required.
- Other Requirements:
- Knowledge of GAAP.
- Experience with QuickBooks and Excel required.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software systems preferred.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
- Ability to engage a team toward a common mission.
- Works independently and supervises the work of others.
