We’re looking for a Bookkeeping Assistant to support our day-to-day accounting operations for our managed property associations. This is a role designed for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in accounting or property management. Job Summary:
As an Assistant Bookkeeper, you will support the accounting team with routine financial tasks and recordkeeping. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and other team members to help ensure transactions are processed accurately and on time.
Duties:
- Assist with bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
- Enter invoices, receipts, and payments into accounting systems
- Support accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with company policies
- Assist with processing owner payments and management fees
- Help with check processing, deposits, and basic transaction tracking
- Ensure transactions are properly coded and documented
- Provide support during monthly and year-end closing processes
- Assist with vendor invoice review and payment preparation
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager, Property Managers, and Administrative staff
Experience:
- 0–2 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related experience (internships or coursework acceptable)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Comfortable with data entry and working with numbers
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
