Primary Responsibility: Provides a variety of duties relating to the daily functions and business activities of the Human Services Departments including but not limited to scheduling appointments, coordinating activities, updating social media, and website maintenance. Includes answering telephones, greeting customers, and providing clerical duties including issuing Electronic Benefits Transaction (EBT) cards.

Hiring Range: - $19.61 - $23.06 depending on experience

- Issue Electronic Benefits (EBT) cards to walk in clients.
- Answer front desk phones and direct to appropriate staff or resource.
- Update and maintain all community information for Human Services.
- Maintain state required materials on bulletin board and flyers on the front door.
- Identify and offer resources when appropriate to community members.
- Coordinate phone calls and walk-in community members with appropriate staff.
- Directs public comments and complaints to appropriate staff members/departments.
- Help with Food Pantry Activities as needed.
- Coordinate, oversee and manage holiday activities for the community.
- Schedule the interview and conference rooms.
- Inventory and identify office supplies, computer and data needs.
- Complete maintenance requests for the building & Human Services vehicles.
- Maintain kitchen and main office area in an organized and clean manner.
- Maintain Human Services website and Facebook page; removing accessibility barriers in accordance with state and federal laws.
- May occasionally assist Public Health by collecting water samples and credit card payments from customers when Public Health is not present in the office.
- Other office duties as needed.
- Use State systems to check on benefits for community members.
- Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by the Human Services Director including duties needed to stabilize in an emergency situation.
