Boulder County Public Health Department is seeking to hire an Hourly Finance Assistant. This position covers any finance area where additional assistance is needed. They will assist in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, Grants and Budget. Audit assistance will also be requested.
This is an hourly, non-benefited position that will work up to 15 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm with varying hours. This position will work out of 3450 Broadway St., Boulder, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime).
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Hiring Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00 Hourly

- Provide back up to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, Grants and Budget
- Create Deposits
- Create check run
- Manage AP Inbox
- Audit Purchase Card transactions
- Create Awards and Projects in Oracle for addition to General Ledger
- Maintains all projects in Oracle
- Assists with other Finance duties as requested
- Prepare and submit journal entries
- Assist Grants and Budget in back up role
- Performs related work, as required
- May be reassigned during emergency situations
