Position Summary: While accountable for all aspects of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), this role primarily focuses on maintenance, and reliable operations of HR technology. It ensures the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of HR systems and processes, with particular emphasis on employee data management, the employee portal, and benefits census reporting. The position is responsible for optimizing HRIS platforms, maintaining accurate employee records in both digital and paper formats, and upholding data quality through routine audits and reporting.
This role also leads a team of HR Specialists and assistants, providing guidance on daily operations such as employee census reporting, benefits enrollment and billing data, and retirement savings plan administration. Additionally, the manager oversees the development and analysis of HR metrics and analytics to inform strategic decision-making and ensure regulatory compliance.Critical Tasks:
- Responsible for all employee data management
- Prepare for internal and external audits
- Manages benefits billing data including self-billing and reconciliation
- Ensures security of all employee information
- Serves as a critical link between HR Operations, Compliance, Payroll, and IT ensuring seamless process and high standards of data governance.
- Research emerging technologies to decide if installing them can increase the organization’s efficiency and effectiveness.
- Studies the organization’s current HR Information Systems and procedures, for the purpose of designing solutions to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively; bringing employee data management and information technology (IT) together by understanding the needs and limitations of both.
- Devises ways to add new functionality to existing computer systems. Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
- Oversees the installation, configuration, and customization of new systems for the organization in collaboration with the IT Team
- Continually develops and improves all data capture, retention and reporting methodologies while ensuring data accuracy and reporting speed.
- Conducts testing to ensure that the systems work as expected.
- Trains system end-users on application functionality.
- Conducts in-depth tests and analysis of information and trends in data to increase a system’s performance and efficiency.
- Generates routine reports and designs special reports as requested.
- Provides reference by writing documentation. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in management or similar/related field, plus 3 years professional level experience in human resources, administration, or finance;
- Two years’ experience with INFOR Healthcare Systems
- Intermediate or expert level of mastery with Excel .
- Ability to perform accurate statistical analyses.
- Experience with the administration of benefits and compensation data and systems is required.
- Interest in medical subjects, patient services/care, and customer service.
- Prior medical environment work experience is preferred.
