Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to measure client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and staff on behavioral therapy techniques and data collection methods
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, patient records, and HIPAA-compliant records in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Facilitate intake assessments to determine client needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with best practices in behavioral health
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavioral therapy methodologies
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting to track client progress effectively
- Ability to perform patient assessments and conduct diagnostic evaluations with sensitivity and professionalism
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and external providers
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and treatment planning
