We are seeking a passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support adults in TERI's Choices for Adult Learning (CAL) program and middle- to high-school students in one of TERI's non-public schools. In this role, you will help ensure the individuals we support experience greater independence, safety, and joy in their daily lives. Services are delivered through a combination of on-site, community-based, and limited hybrid/remote work.

 

Your Role & Responsibilities –

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop and implement individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs), oversee ABA programming, and monitor client progress through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, mentorship, and competency assessments for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), BCaBAs, BCBA candidates, and newly hired BCBAs to ensure high-quality, ethical service delivery.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, educators, funding agencies, and community partners by participating in IEP meetings, consultations, behavior clinics, and other meetings to support positive outcomes for individuals served.
  • Develop and deliver behavior-related training programs for employees, educators, and caregivers while supporting staff development, onboarding, recruitment, and performance management initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with BACB ethical standards, state licensing requirements, organizational policies, and best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, leadership initiatives, and continuous quality improvement efforts to enhance behavioral services and support TERI's mission.

 

Salary:

  • $75k -80k

 

Qualifications:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification required
  • Master’s degree in education, psychology, human development, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including adults with significant behavioral needs
  • At least 3 years of experience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Experience in residential and/or community-based adult services strongly preferred
  • Training in positive behavior supports and emergency behavior management techniques (e.g., Pro-Act, CPI, ABST, PABS) preferred
  • Acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, valid California Class C driver’s license, and proof of personal vehicle insurance
