Based in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco or Palo Alto, the Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining internal web applications and dashboards that support the firm's attorneys and administrative teams. This role offers the opportunity to develop innovative, data-driven tools that enhance the firm's operational efficiency and data accessibility.
This role reports to the Associate Director, Financial Systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and develop internal web applications, dashboards, and intranet portals for attorneys and business teams.
- Build dynamic, data-driven interfaces that visualize performance metrics, matter data, and operational insights.
- Ensure all applications comply with the company's security and data confidentiality policies.
- Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces that align with the firm's branding and usability standards.
- Create and maintain reusable UI components, templates, and style libraries to ensure consistency across internal tools.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on usability, performance, and visual consistency.
- High degree of professional discretion and reliability when handling confidential firm and client data.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving ability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to produce well-documented, maintainable, and testable code in alignment with development best practices.
- Understanding of data privacy, information security, and compliance frameworks.
- Working knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5–8 years of professional experience developing C#/.NET web applications integrated with Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Experience developing applications or dashboards for professional services organizations (e.g., law firms, consulting, or financial institutions).
- Proficiency in VB.NET, ASP.NET Core / MVC, and T-SQL (including stored procedures and query optimization).
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks such as Bootstrap, React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with version control systems (Azure DevOps, GitHub) and structured development workflows.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual compensation range for this position is $120-165k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
