An ENR-ranked General Contractor with a nationally recognized Mission Critical division is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead large-scale data center construction projects across the United States.

Position Overview
The Traveling Superintendent will oversee field operations for ground-up data center projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and subcontractor performance across all phases of construction. This individual will play a key leadership role on fast-paced, technically complex projects ranging from $50M to $500M .
Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through turnover
- Manage subcontractors, daily schedules, manpower coordination, and site logistics
- Drive project safety culture and enforce OSHA compliance standards
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Owners, Engineers, and Trade Partners
- Maintain aggressive project schedules while ensuring quality execution
- Conduct daily site meetings, progress reporting, and look-ahead planning
- Oversee inspections, commissioning coordination, and project closeout activities
- Ensure adherence to design documents, specifications, and construction standards
- Mentor field staff and help develop project teams
Qualifications
- 7 years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor
- Strong background in:
- Data Centers
- Mission Critical
- Industrial or Large-Scale Commercial Construction
- Experience managing complex MEP scopes is strongly preferred
- Ability to travel full-time nationwide
- Proven track record delivering large-scale projects on schedule and within budget
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
