About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a well-established and growing electrical contractor delivering complex commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects across the Indianapolis region. Known for quality execution, strong client relationships, and technical excellence, the company is expanding its project management team to support a strong pipeline of upcoming work.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to take ownership of high-value projects and play a key role in delivering technically complex electrical systems from preconstruction through closeout.
The Role
As Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects, ensuring successful delivery across safety, schedule, budget, and quality. You will coordinate closely with field teams, clients, engineers, and subcontractors to drive execution and maintain strong project performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout
- Oversee project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and change order management
- Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with field teams and general contractors
- Coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure efficient project execution
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance and constructability
- Work closely with field leadership to support installation, productivity, and issue resolution
- Lead client meetings, progress updates, and stakeholder communication
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, electrical codes, and quality requirements
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical or scheduling challenges proactively
- Support procurement, estimating, and preconstruction efforts as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Senior Electrical Foreman transitioning into PM role
- Strong background in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical electrical construction
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, NEC code, and construction sequencing
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar) preferred
- Electrical license or Journeyman/Master Electrician background preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
