Your tasks
- As a Sr Process Engineer, you are responsible for providing expert support in process standardization and capability improvements in plastic processing and innovative technologies for injection molding operations. You will function as a technical resource to ensure that injection molding operations process standards for Georg Fischer are compliant.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Plastics/Polymer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Injection Molding Process Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience with semi-crystalline and amorphous plastics and ability to process materials through various types (makes) of injection molding and extrusion machines.
- Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing plastic processing, including shrinkage management, mold qualification, post-molding operations, auxiliary equipment integration, and product testing.
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis techniques.
- Ability to travel 50% or more
