Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous optimization of IT infrastructure across company sites.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure the reliable operation of site-specific IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, client systems, and peripheral devices.
· Analyze and independently resolve complex issues related to network, hardware, and software environments.
· Configure, monitor, and optimize network components (switches, firewalls, access points) as well as server and storage solutions.
· Plan and implement cross-site IT projects and evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency and processes.
· Implement and monitor IT security policies, ensuring compliance with internal standards and legal requirements.
· Create and maintain technical documentation and continuously develop internal IT standards.
· Provide IT support and advisory services to internal teams and deliver training sessions as required.
· Coordinate external service providers and vendors to ensure service quality and performance.
Qualifications
Education, Qualifications & Professional Experience:
· Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration), a four-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
· In lieu of a degree, at least five years of professional experience in a comparable IT systems administration role may be considered.
