Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Budgets for maintenance function and ensures that expenses are within the budget
- Ensures of smooth functioning of Engineering and Maintenance (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Facilities ,Utilities and Water System
- Ensures 100 % availability of Utilities with minimum down time to fulfill the Process requirement
- Work Order management, repairs, and preventive maintenance management
- Implements Mechanical Integrity in a PSM site
- Responsible for calibrations and PM work orders for compliance, quality and cGMP and productivity
- Ensures all the civil related activities are handled and guides team to on fulfilling requirements of users
- Ensures that the facilities is always audit ready
- Reviews and approves function related Purchases, Requisitions, CER, Drawings, protocols, and other documents related to E&M
- Strives for zero observations in Regulatory, Customer and Internal audits
- Ensures induction, learning and development, training, performance management and engagement for the team
- Develops and implements Maintenance Excellence KPIs using Industry Reliability best practices: MTTR, MTBF, Planned work, schedule adherence, etc.
- Owns the CMMS
- Drives implementation of process improvement/ innovative ideas in timely manner
- Ensures project proposal creation, execution and timely completion within time and budget, for both green field and brown field Projects
Education/Experience
- Sound general knowledge and experience of heating, boilers, air conditioning systems, electrical systems, welding, instrumentation, fire-protection, roofing systems, building and grounds maintenance and equipment repair
- Need a good understanding of various Federal, State and County codes and regulations involving construction, fire-protection, boilers and occupancy issues
- Minimum 7 year’s experience working in a chemical or API manufacturing environment
- Ability to manage green field and brown field E&M projects end-to-end with value below 1 crore
- Utilization of Operational Excellence tools, Continuous Improvement tools and innovation technology
- Computer literate
- Knowledge on cGMP, regulatory guidelines, quality and safety industrial norms basis site and corporate requirements
- Should have Knowledge on budgeting and controlling mechanism
- Application of all sections of E&M department (including civil) to ensure smooth functioning
- Develop opportunities to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
