Our client, an established yet growing manufacturing company is looking to add a Machine Operator to their team. The Machine Operator is responsible for the safety, quality, and production within the manufacturing lines. This role will support operations as they move from Europe to the U.S.
Must be okay with traveling to Europe for 3-4 weeks at the end of the summer for training. All paid for by company. This is a 7pm to 7am shift - two days on, two days off.
Key Duties
- Perform manufacturing and production operations, including equipment setup, operation, changeovers, shutdowns, packaging, and in-process inspections.
- Ensure materials and components are available to support production schedules and operational requirements.
- Accurately calculate, document, and enter production data into electronic systems and records.
- Troubleshoot routine equipment issues, clear process interruptions, and support continuous production flow.
- Execute routine equipment cleaning, inspection, and maintenance activities.
- Identify process inefficiencies, quality concerns, and operational losses; implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in shift handovers, production planning meetings, scheduled downtime activities, and operational reviews.
- Operate in compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
- Support manufacturing of regulated products in accordance with applicable quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Monitor daily production performance and take proactive steps to maintain operational efficiency and equipment uptime.
Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Collaboration skills- must be able to work effectively in a highly diverse, global, multi-functional environment
- Assembly line experience preferred
