What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Scientist – Bioanalytical Development position at Germer International - Pharmaceutical Recruiting?
The Associate Scientist will execute in-process analytical testing, assay development, and GMP testing when needed for gene therapy products, collaborating with a multidisciplinary Process Development Team, GMP testing team, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing team.
Responsibilities:
- Support bioanalytical and biophysical characterization activities for biologics and related therapeutic programs
- Perform HPLC-based analytical assays, including AEX-HPLC and SEC-MALS methodologies
- Execute characterization studies using techniques such as DLS and mass photometry
- Conduct immunoassays and other analytical assays to support research and development activities
- Analyze, interpret, and summarize experimental data
- Support analytical method development, troubleshooting, and assay optimization activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with research, analytical development, and scientific teams
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records
- Assist with sample preparation, assay execution, and reporting of results
- Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced, and evolving laboratory environment
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
