The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. The Project Manager is responsible for the scheduling and financial reporting and billing of client programs, which are cell and gene therapy CMC programs with significant unmet medical need or in rare diseases. In this role, the Project Manager partners closely with the Scientific Program Leader on one or multiple client programs to enable the program team to be successful in meeting and exceeding our client requirements, thus ultimately serving our patients.
The Project Manager tracks each applicable stage throughout its lifecycle and makes sure that critical information is shared among the various team members.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Scheduling; Organizing Program Information, Budget Management, Scope Change Management, Progress Monitoring; Updating team members and partners; Managing information flow
- Works integrally with the Program Leader and team in developing schedules and scenarios to meet critical milestones.
- Works integrally with the Program Leader, Finance and Business Development from Proposal to Program Initiation to Program Close Out in regard to timeline and budget management.
Education, Experience, & Qualification:
- Bachelors degree, preferable in science or engineering or operations/supply chain.
- 3-5 years of relevant drug development CMC experience, preferably in biotherapeutics.
- Experience in Project Management and/or Project Controls.
- Experience in operating in a matrix team organization.
- Proficient in Project Management tools such as MS Project, MS Teams, OneNote, Smartsheet, Tableau, SAP, and/or equivalent software tools.
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
