Position Summary:
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you'll work closely with our occupational therapists to bring personalized, meaningful care to the geriatric population. You’ll help patients regain independence in their daily lives through engaging and evidence-based interventions—both in the clinic and out in the community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering hands-on treatment sessions based on the OT’s plan of care
- Assisting patients with therapeutic activities to improve ADLs, fine motor skills, coordination, and cognitive function
- Monitoring patient progress and communicating effectively with the supervising OT
- Supporting caregiver training and patient education to promote carryover at home
- Documenting treatments, responses, and updates accurately and timely
- Occasionally helping with wellness and dementia care programming if desired
What We’re Looking For:
- A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensed in Tennessee
- A team player with a genuine love for working with older adults
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Adaptability—this is a hybrid role that may involve clinic-based and occasional home health or community-based visits
- Bonus if you’re already a Certified Dementia Practitioner or interested in becoming one

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
