What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator position at GeoTel Communications?
GeoTel is looking for a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to bring its marketing to the next level. We are looking for a dedicated, self-driven individual with a focus on Digital Marketing and the Google Suite products.
- Assist with all social media for the company’s website
- Content Creation, Blog Creation, Email Marketing, etc.
- Video Creation and Promotion
- Assist with Search Engine Optimization and all aspects of Digital Marketing
- Work with various individuals to prepare competitive, qualification-based proposals & prequalification packets for clients
- Prepare graphically-driven presentations for clients & attend presentations when needed
- Create, prepare, and assemble marketing brochures and collateral as needed
- Organize and execute participation in industry-related expos & various events
- Help track sales leads for new work utilizing various websites and publications, and maintain the company’s lead database.
- Create & produce various projects, including ads for magazines or newspapers, company newsletters, expo screen artwork, boards, event flyers, etc.
- Assist with admin tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising/Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or related field, and one year of experience, or an Associate’s Degree with 2 years of experience, is preferred
- Some experience in a related Marketing position is preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in Google Ads, Analytics, Tag Manager, etc.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, and Photoshop
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to balance workload, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines with a positive attitude
- Organized, detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
