What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Mill Machinist - Night position at GEOSPACE TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION?

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Machine quality components to drawing specifications, maintaining tight tolerances ( /- .001) standard are ( /- .005).
- Program, set up, and operate Mills with Fanuc controls, DN (Doosan) mills 3Ax & 5Ax, Hurco Win-max, and Fadal controls a plus.
- Perform first part inspections (FAI), in process inspections for traceability.
- Directly responsible for machining quality components to specifications.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Perform autonomous and routine preventative maintenance on machines.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
- Responsible for making jigs, fixtures or other specialized non-production devices as qualified and assigned.
- Set-up own tooling, including turning, grooving, milling, roughing, finishing, and contour tooling.
- Create or modify G-Code programs to reduce or improve run times
- Calculate dimensions and set up jobs on the machine.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production/machine issues.

Qualifications:
- Two to five years of experience in a Machine Shop environment.
- Strong Fanuc control skills.
- Experience setting multiple part setups.
- Basic 5-axis knowledge.
- Renishaw tool setter and part probe.
Education/Experience requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Associate or Certification in Machining a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 45 pounds without assistance.
