What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Room Technician position at Georgia Vascular & Interventional, LLC?
Georgia Vascular & Interventional, LLC is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for an outpatient Vascular and Interventional practice located in Griffin, GA. The candidate must be committed to providing high quality patient care with exceptional customer service skills.
Hours will be Monday –Thursday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. There will be no call and no weekends required. Part time may also be available.
Pay is negotiable based on experience.
Essential Duties:
Must be able to start IV and prepare patients for procedures. Please Do not apply if you cannot start an IV!!
Assist with administrative duties including scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records.
Assist the physician in seeing patients for routine clinic visits and follow up appointments by interviewing and recording patients' medical information to include vital signs and medical history.
Responsible for assisting in monitoring patients after procedures.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Candidate must be friendly, have an outgoing personality, and be able to get along with all staff members.
Candidate must be reliable and able to handle a high stress and busy work environment.
Education and Training:
Medical office and Emergency Department experience is required
BLS preferred
General knowledge of office procedures and computer systems.
Drug Screen will be required.
