What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Maintenance (Temporary) position at Georgia Southwestern State University?
This is maintenance and grounds work for the Physical Plant Department which involves general maintenance and grounds duties. This position will be basic maintenance and grounds procedures.
Responsibilities
Assists the Grounds Teams with grounds tasks. Assist the Maintenance Teams with building maintenance tasks. Assists the Janitorial Team with building maintenance tasks. Assists the department in campus setups. Monitor campus areas for contractor work. Moderate-to-light physical labor.
Required Qualifications
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, visitors and guests, and to efficiently convey information. Ability to work independently, with attention to detail. This position does not require driving of state vehicles. Must possess a current, valid Georgia driver's license. Must be at least 18 years old.
