What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodial Services Team Lead (Night) position at Georgia Southwestern State University?
This position is responsible for overseeing the contracted custodial services for the University . This position is designated by the University as Essential Personnel . Some overtime and weekend work may be required.
Responsibilities
Trains employees and assists with employee evaluations.
Monitors building assignments and adjustments as needed.
Ensures compliance with all University policies and procedures.
Inspects facilities and furnishings for cleaning needs.
Respond to University requests promptly.
Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies.
Issues keys to custodial personnel; maintains key inventory records.
Clean buildings, classrooms, dorms, & restrooms assigned.
Moves office furniture and equipment; assists in setting up and breaking down facilities for special events as needed.
Buffs, strips, and waxes floors and shampoos carpets.
Supply inventory to the contracted company on a needed basis.
Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL
High school diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
More than 4 years of related experience
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to report to work on time and be dependable in attendance.
Some custodial experience is preferred; experience with commercial floor care equipment is desirable.
A current, valid driver's license is preferred
Must be able to pass a background check
