Lead Foreman - Outdoor Motorized Screen Installer

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Independent Contractors to install motorized outdoor screens for residential and commercial clients. As a 1099 contractor, you will be responsible for completing installations on behalf of Georgia Luxe Outdoors while maintaining our high standards for craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and service motorized outdoor screen systems at client properties according to specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform on-site assessments to verify measurements, mounting locations, and installation feasibility.
• Ensure proper alignment, wiring, and operation of screens, including integration with remotes or smart controls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation or operational issues on-site.
• Communicate effectively with customers and the Georgia Luxe Outdoors project team regarding scheduling, updates, and any project changes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Complete installations within agreed-upon timeframes and quality standards.
• Provide feedback to management on installation improvements, product performance, or customer concerns.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience installing motorized screens, shades, awnings, or similar outdoor systems.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, electrical wiring (low-voltage), and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions.
• Ability to work with both wood and aluminum buildouts
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites throughout Georgia and neighboring states or ability to meet daily at office location. Company vehicles are available for select leads.
• Must supply own tools and equipment necessary for installation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, or elevated surfaces.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Compensation & Structure

• This is a 1099 independent contractor role (not an employee position).
• Competitive per-project or per-installation pay, based on experience and scope of work.
• Full-time work is guaranteed and additional hours are available
