Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Screen Installer to join our installation team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing motorized screens, screen porches, windows, three season rooms, and door screens, ensuring precise measurements, proper fitting, and high-quality finishes. Your expertise will contribute to creating comfortable, energy-efficient spaces for our clients while maintaining safety and efficiency on the job site. Responsibilities
- Measure openings accurately using tape measures and interpret blueprint specifications to ensure proper screen fitment
- Install screens in windows, doors, patios, and other designated areas following detailed schematics
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, frame, and secure screens according to project requirements
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless workflow
- Conduct inspections of installed screens for quality assurance, durability, and adherence to safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols on the construction site
Qualifications
- Proven experience in screen installation or related construction roles with a strong understanding of building material installation
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of construction estimating, inspection processes, and construction management principles
- Familiarity with various construction trades including carpentry and masonry
- Ability to interpret dimensional measurements accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude on-site
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders safely, and working at heights
