Role: Exterior Trim Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA

Salary Benefits Relocation

 

Responsibilities

 

·         Design of automotive Exterior trim component in a DRE role

·         Develop and execute Exterior Trim system requirements for Automotive  (Cars and SUVs)

·         Complete and release   exterior components, sub-system and detail designs (Bumper, Facia, Cladding, Garnish, Spoiler, etc)

·         Collaborate with key Exterior system and plastic component suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and prototype/production build events

·         Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive exterior/bumper components and subsystems

·         Knowledge of Plastic manufacturing technologies

·         Perform feasibility and packaging study

·         In-depth knowledge of Plastic tooling and hands-on experience in Catia V6 required

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
