Role: Exterior Trim EngineerLocation: Irvine, CaliforniaDuration: FulltimeJob DescriptionResponsibilities: • Design of automotive Exterior trim component in a DRE role• Develop and execute Exterior Trim system requirements for Automotive (Cars and SUVs)• Complete and release exterior components, sub-system and detail designs (Bumper, Facia, Cladding, Garnish, Spoiler etc)• Collaborate with key Exterior system and plastic component suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and prototype/production build events• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive exterior / bumper components and subsystem• Knowledge of Plastic manufacturing technologies• Perform feasibility and packaging study• In-depth knowledge of Plastic tooling and hands on experience in Catia V6 required
