What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Pastor/Director position at Georgia Baptist Mission Board?
Perimeter Road Baptist Church (PRBC) is a 36-year-old, Elder-led, congregational fellowship seeking a full-time Student Pastor/Director. PRBC is an SBC fellowship committed to the Cooperative Program and support of missions and soundness of SBC institutions for promoting the gospel and glory of our Lord Jesus Christ both locally and throughout the world. Candidates must be born again believers, committed to personal growth in Christ-likeness, the expansion of the Kingdom of God through biblical evangelism and missions, and the development of the body of believers through discipleship and use of spiritual gifts. Candidates must possess a theological vision for Christian-congregational worship that is Trinitarian focused and Biblically-centered. Worship should focus on the fullness of the revelation of the triune God worshipping the Father through the Son by the Holy Spirit centered on Scripture. Modeling life and ministry according to 1 Timothy 3:1-7 (living above reproach) and accountable for the performance of pastoral duties and care of the congregation by the Family Pastor and the Lead Pastor.

ADMINISTRATION
Oversee Ministries
- Lead Student Ministry (6th - 12th Grade) by overseeing volunteers teachers and servants,
missions, overseeing all student weekly services (229 and Community Groups), overseeing all
trips and student events (mission trips, summer camp, retreats, concerts, Mud Bowl, etc.).
- Train and develop leaders from within the congregation of PRBC to invest in the lives of the

- Primary teaching pastor for the PRBC Student Ministry (229 Student Ministry) for Wednesday
- Teach Gospel-centered messages from the Bible .
- Plan and teach lessons that are directly applicable the daily lives of 6th - 12th Grade students .
- Be a regular and focused student of God's Word to ensure sermons and lessons being taught are
PASTORAL CARE
- Be attentive to the needs of students and their parents as they arise including home visits,
- Reach out to students and parents with intentionality to offer encouragement, support, and
- Train and develop volunteer leaders serving in the PRBC Student Ministry by investing in their

ADMINISTRATION
- Plan ministry services and events that promote healthy spiritual growth, outreach, fellowship, and fun for students.
- Communicate well (via social media, phone calls, bulletins, announcements, etc.) with students,
- Develop and execute a yearly budget to meet the needs of the student ministry and fits within the context of the overall PRBC budget.
- Set annual goals for the ministry to students (Ministry Action Plan).
- Align Goals with God's Word and the mission/vision statements of PRBC.
- Develop a strategic growth plan for students to cover the cycle of all 7 years a student may be involved in the student ministry.
- Listen to the volunteer leaders, parents, and students to gain insight for the ongoing spiritual needs that arise in the lives of students and seek to meet those spiritual needs.
- Maintain healthy prayer and Bible study habits for personal spiritual growth and to offer spiritual guidance for students and parents.
