About the Role:
We're seeking a high-caliber Area Sales Manager to lead a team of around 10 sales professionals and deliver on a $100M annual revenue target for the Boston market. This is a unique opportunity to drive growth and results for a major player in sustainable services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet/exceed $100M annual target.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a sales team of ~10, ensuring constant growth and sales excellence.
- Analyze business trends and achieve profitable revenue growth and retention across all business lines.
- Monitor KPI’s, sales activities, and CRM usage to ensure high performance and accountability.
- Work closely with Regional Sales Manager on market plans, pricing, and business development initiatives.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of sales talent.
- Build and maintain customer relationships, ensuring best-in-class service and solution delivery.
- Oversee market area compliance with all company, state, and federal employment and safety policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8–10 years proven sales leadership experience, preferably in B2B services or environmental/sustainability sectors.
- Strong track record in team management, coaching, and consistently exceeding targets.
- Deep knowledge of sales strategies, CRM systems, and Office 365.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical approach to identifying and capitalizing on opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree required; sales/marketing/business/related field preferred.
- Legally eligible to work in the US; valid driver’s license required.
- Comfortable with up to 50-75% regional travel.
