We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage procurement activities, develop strategic sourcing initiatives, and oversee supplier relationships to ensure the seamless supply of materials and components. Your expertise will help optimize our supply chain operations, improve inventory management, and support our manufacturing processes.

• Coordinate procurement activities across multiple departments, ensuring timely acquisition of materials and services.
• Utilize ERP systems such as INFOR Visual to process purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and implement effective inventory control strategies.
• Manage sourcing initiatives by identifying new suppliers, evaluating proposals, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Oversee logistics coordination to ensure efficient transportation, delivery schedules, and warehouse operations.
• Monitor procurement metrics and continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

• Proficiency in ERP systems such as INFOR Visual for procurement management.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory management, vendor management, and logistics.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, procurement strategies, and supplier relationship management.
• Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to align production schedules with purchasing activities.
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to develop sourcing strategies that maximize value.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory control techniques.
